The approximate cost per student is $16, 000 a year. However, through the generosity of our donors and the willingness of our President Keith Chancey to raise money, the cost to you cost is $9,250. That means each of you, if you choose to accept the offer, receive about a $7000 scholarship to attend. You pay just over half for a year of school, community and living expenses. Why wouldn't you take advantage of the opportunity?
In exchange for this scholarship you will be asked to participate in a work study job 2-3 hours per week and a weekly dining hall clean-up rotation (earning approx. $50 an hour). Also, we will have occasional required kampus workdays and fundraisers.
Each student must pay a nonrefundable $500 deposit to reserve his/her spot in the next year’s Kanakuk Institute class.
Check out our Army of Support campaign for fundraising ideas and the Support Raising Guide as well.
