Kyle Unruh
Kyle Unruh has served as the President of K-Life Ministries for the past 5 years. While attending Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where he received a Bachelors Degree in Education, Kyle worked during the summers as a counselor at Kanakuk Kamps. The year after graduation he attended the discipleship training program at Duolos Ministries in Branson, Missouri. He then joined the staff of K-Life Ministries and was part of the first staff team at K-Life of Highland Park in Dallas, Texas where he served for 2 years. In the summers he continued working at Kanakuk Kamps.

Kyle then moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he was the Discipleship Director for the Spirit Express Basketball Organization. It was there that he met his wife, Amy. Kyle’s heart was lured back to K-Life, so he and Amy moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where Kyle served as the Area Director of K-Life of Bartlesville for 5 years. Kyle and Amy stayed in Bartlesville for 4 more years while they ran a group home for foster children called “Welcome Home.”
In the summer of 1997, Kyle became the K-West Men’s Director for Kanakuk Kamps for 2 years. Kyle and his family then moved to Branson, Missouri in 1998 when he joined Kanakuk Kamps’ full-time staff as the director of K-Extreme which later became Kanakuk-Klassic where he served for 7 years.
During that time Kyle became the President of K-Life Ministries, splitting his time between Kanakuk in the summer and K-Life during the school year. Due to K-Life’s growth over the past couple years, Kyle now devotes the full year to serving as the President of K-Life Ministries.
Kyle and Amy have 6 children: Abby, Tate, Darby, Thatch, Audra and Carly.
