Charles Stofus
Charles has served as an Associate pastor at Denton Bible Church in Denton, Texas for the last 10 years. He is the director of a Theological Institute there and also has other additional teaching roles throughout the Church. In addition, he serves as an assistant to the senior Pastor Tommy Nelson.
| Charles was born in southern California but moved to Denton Texas to attend the University of North Texas (then NTSU) on a Jazz trombone scholarship. While at UNT, he played lead trombone in the famed 1:00 Lab Band. While in Denton he attended Denton Bible Church and was heavily influenced by the ministry of its Senior Pastor Tommy Nelson and his year-long intensive discipleship program called the “Young Guns.” Upon graduation and completing the Young Guns, program he attended Dallas Theological Seminary and received his ThM. in Historical Theology. He then came on staff at Denton Bible to start a Theological Institute which he now directs. He also enjoys regularly participating in on-campus debates at the university of North Texas with professors and invited guests on the Creation/Evolution controversy as well as other hot topics like Homosexuality, Gay Marriage, etc. |

He is happily married to his wife Melanie and enjoys his 4 children, Megan (18), Lance (11), Luke (7) and Leah (3). He enjoys teaching Apologetics, Theology and Bible Overviews as well as reading in a wide range of subjects.
