David Lawson

David and his wife, BJ, serve as co-directors for Precept Ministries International Student Ministry. David has worked with students for over twenty years. His passion is to see students equipped to study the Bible for themselves and empowered to lead their generation in small group Bible studies, in order to impact their world. His use of humor and storytelling in his teaching, as well as his experience as a former police officer and pastor, enable him to communicate effectively with students.

He is co-author with Kay Arthur of the popular small-group 40-Minute Bible Studies as well as the New Inductive Study Series (NISS). A national Bible Study Trainer, teacher and conference speaker for Precept Ministries International, he travels nationally and internationally extensively.
