Dupree Scovell, Former Student and Real Estate Professional
Dupree is a Senior Development Associate at the Trammell Crow Company in Dallas, Texas. He has four majors in Business from Texas Tech University and he graduated from the Kanakuk Institute in 2004. Mr. Scovell joined the Development and Investment team of Trammell Crow as the lead Financial Analyst has since been promoted to Senior Associate of Retail Development and Investment where he focuses on the acquisition and development of retail real estate. Dupree has a passion for public service in the city of Dallas and he actively serves on many boards and commissions including: Founder, The Real Estate Council’s Young Guns; Co-Chair of the American Cancer Society’s Starlight Gala; Board-member, Friends of Fair Park; Commissioner, Dallas Achieves Commission; Task Force Member, South Dallas Development Task Force. He has also served on several campaigns including Dallas I.S.D. Bond Campaign, the City of Dallas Bond Campaign, the Trinity River Referendum, and the Tom Leppert for Mayoral campaign. Last year Dupree was recognized by Dallas CEO magazine as one of the “Top 30 Real Estate Professionals under 30” and most recently he was honored by the National Real Estate Forum as one of “Tomorrow’s Newsmakers”, recognizing real estate professionals under 35. He attributes his desire to impact both the marketplace and society to his relationship with Christ and his disciplined approach to passionately knowing HIM, which he says would not have happened without the life-changing experience of the Kanakuk Institute. |
